MAURY

SHOW BRANDING AND GRAPHICS PACKAGES

UC has branded The Maury Show since 2005. The 2017 look was equally flat and dimensional, with a youthful and playful feel. Inspired by paper geometry and texture, the package blended 2D and 3D worlds to welcome "Maury" into its 20th season as a show that's hip, strong, current and here for years to come.


Harry

BRANDING, BROADCAST AND PROMO GRAPHICS PACKAGES

After branding the pilot episode with an original logo and look, we took on the production of the actual broadcast and marketing packages once the show was picked up. The packages included on-air elements, social media templates, marketing material and promo graphics.


CRAZY TALK

Goal: Dress up NBC's daytime show in an outfit suited to the playful and colorful nature of the show's content – and the hosts.

Challenge: Creating separate – unique, but related – toolkits for NBC's Marketing and Broadcast departments, based off the initial pilot graphics created by the Undefined Creative team.

Solution: Focus on eye-catching key elements that will be instantly recognizable, and let the rest of the design follow. In this case, we used the boxed look of the logo to create a “Crazy Talk” world of rectangular shapes. Talk shows require a great deal of flexibility in how they use graphics, so we stuck with modular elements, heavily versioned for the widest range of options for the on-air package. We got a little “zippier” with the marketing package, building quicker, quirkier motion to integrate in short promos.


TRISHA

Goal: Brand NBC's daytime talk show "Trisha" in a standout way.

Challenge: Developing a robust package, with as much variety as the budget and timeframe allowed for.

Solution: We defined our color palette as an overall range and feel, as opposed to a set of specific colors. This allowed us to create a number of vibrant, diverse backgrounds. The backgrounds became the building blocks of the package, providing color and textures, giving us endless combinations for customizing elements.

25th ANNIVERSARY COMPILATION

To celebrate the 25th anniversary of The Jerry Springer Show, NBCU asked Undefined Creative to create a supplemental graphics package to celebrate the show’s silver anniversary.


The Jenny McCarthy Show

PILOT GRAPHICS PACKAGE

Goal: To wow the pilot taping audience, the network execs and Jenny herself.

Challenge: Show off Jenny's down-to-earth, relatable persona without downplaying her accomplishments.

Solution: Who better to do that than Jenny! We picked out some key moments and invited Jenny to act out her reactions to each. We wanted natural, unscripted reactions to everything from bad hair choices to parenthood.
